“REAL” SME and ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Why add the word “REAL”?

True story… A few years ago, when a company which is respected by us, was attending a Small Business Conference, a nationally recognized “household name” organization was presenting.  The organization’s presenter began by speaking of all the great financing that they have provided for small businesses.  One of the examples which was highlighted was a corporation, a major U.S. manufacturer, also a “household name”.  It is true that this organization provided financial assistance which, in theory, would also collaterally benefit the local economy.  But, you can understand our point of distinguishing “REAL” when we are qualifying and entity as an SME.  So, how can it be that at a Small Business Conference, a national U.S. organization, which was created for the purpose to assist small businesses, highlights their financial support for a major U.S. manufacturer?  Enough said.

As is defined from the European Commission, LSG considers “SME” as micro, small and medium-size businesses.  And, as a high percentage of LSG associates have a lifetime of experience and expertise with entrepreneurial-minded endeavours, we naturally have a strong propensity to work with like-minded professionals.  The intangible reward alone, with a successful engagement which provides a sustainable outcome within these two categories, is one of the greatest feelings one could ever experience in business.

We consider SME and Entrepreneurial Initiatives to have elements which would be considered “category/sector-overlap”.  Therefore, the knowledge and experience of our professionals and our similarly focused specialized resources which are “geared” in this direction, our advantage becomes evident through LSG blueprinting and APMS.  To be perfectly clear, LSG always blueprints on a case-by-case basis, not dependent on the size of organization or initiative.  Categorization or sectorization is a “guideline to approach” for initial engagement to assist with asset and resource allocation.

SME and Entrepreneurship are very special to us and therefore, are a major focus.  The greatest need is within SME and Entrepreneurial initiative.  LSG has tremendous capacity within this sector and can provide remarkable, substantive positive impact.

PIONEER FORWARD. FORGE FORWARD.

APMS FORTIFIED.  SUSTAINABILITY REALIZED.

Engage Forward!
